Purim Carnival & Maegillah Reading March 4 & 7

1) Once again, our annual Youth Group major fund raiser and fun event is almost at our doorstep (or more accurately on our grounds).  This year, the Purim Carnival, featuring GreenScreen, pony rides, trackless train, rock wall, game truck, bouncies of all sorts, carnival games, prizes and lots of great food will be held on Sunday, March 4 from 11 AM – 2 PM.  To pull off the carnival requires lots of advance preparation and organization.  This year, we are happy to announce that once again we have managed to hold the advance purchase price of unlimited activity access including a meal to $20 – other options will be available the day of the carnival including meal and individual food item purchases.  Look for a flier announcing the times and dates on which those advance purchases can be made.

2) We depend on individuals, families and businesses to sponsor activities and have developed a sponsorship list.  If you want to contribute to the sponsorship of an activity but not sponsor the whole thing, we can make that happen too!  I have attached a sponsorship list.

3) We also need a huge number of volunteers to run activities and work the food area.  Please let me know if you are available – set-up that day starts at 8:30 AM.

Please, let us hear from you about sponsorship or volunteering and let us see you and your children on March 4 having a grand time at the carnival!!! Carnival game sponsorships

4) The megillah reading will be held immediately after TT on Wed, March 7.  We know that’s a long day for everyone, so we will offer salad, pizza & drinks for our students and for families beginning at 5:45 (there is no minyan that day because there is a service as part of the megilla reading).  The cost of the pizza, salad & drinks is $5/per person with a cap of $25 per family.  I will need to know if you are planning to join us on the 7th for dinner by the end of the Purim carnival on March 4!!!!!
